The Chairman


His Highness Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan


His Highness Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed was appointed to the post of Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Court by an Emiri Decree issued by His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE and Ruler of Abu Dhabi, on December 17, 2006.

H.H. the Chairman previously held many important official positions in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, including: Chairman of Abu Dhabi Department of Planning & Economy, Chairman of Health Authority, Executive Committee Chairman of Executive Council, Chairman of Higher Corporation for Specialized Economic Zones, and Vice Chairman of Abu Dhabi Council for Economic Development.

H.H. Sheikh Hamed is currently serving on numerous boards, including: Managing Director of the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA), and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Khalifa University of Science, Technology and Research (KUSTAR). H.H is a Member of the Supreme Petroleum Council (SPC) and a Member of the Abu Dhabi Investment Council, in addition to being a Member of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council.

H.H. holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the United Arab Emirates University. He also earned a Master’s degree in Oil Political Economy from the University of Wales, United Kingdom.​​
